A school licence allows schools to install Good Move! on up to 16 computers - Windows or Macintosh. Students can keep track of their progress by selecting their name from the Login Screen.
The names 'Student01' .. 'Student32' can be changed to 'Angela' or 'Emily' or 'Francis' etc.
When they click their name, they are shown the Main Menu
The students can look at the movie which is picked randomly and placed on the screen or may prefer to pick to Use the lesson plan:
If the students pick the promoting a pawn lesson they will see this:
If the students click on the Quicktime movie, Good Move! will show them the control bar which will allow them to play or step forwards or backwards through the movie.
Associated with most lessons is a series of extra movies related to the theme eg if they click on The King's Gambit Extra, that movie appears in the window.
There is an enormous amount of material here - enough to keep students busy for weeks. All of the exzamples have been chosen with great care and should provide much amusement and food for thought. Your students can keep track of their progress, answer quizzes etc etc. Packed with winning ideas.
